INSTRUCTIONS: Seaglass Technique for Quilts and Cushions: PRINTED VERSION
SKU: NM_70_40022654P
"We love spending time on beautiful Cornish beaches and Emily is always thrilled to find treasures - and never more so than when she picks up beautiful pieces of seaglass. This seaglass technique is a method of creating textile art using fabric scraps and fusible web in a raw-edge fusible appliqué collage. Pieces are positioned, ironed down, and then stitched over for texture; the technique is incredibly forgiving because there are no strict rules, no points to match, or shapes that need to be perfectly nested, so this is perfect for beginners - or to do with the kids! Enjoy using this technique to create a quilt, runner, wall hanging or cushions that capture the mood and tranquility of the seaside." - Natasha
