"Sometimes you will find a square cushion panel and whilst it will look fabulous simply quilted and a cushion back adding, you may wish to make it bigger or use it in the centre of a quilt.
I have made a triangle unit, that gives the illusion that there is a second square lying underneath the panel. It is a quick way to make the cushion bigger or can be adjusted slightly to make a lovely lap quilt."

To make this project, you will need (available to purchase separately):
- One square cushion panel
- Four co-ordinating fabrics: a minimum of a long quarter of each for the cushion, or 0.5m of each for the quilt
- Wadding: minimum 24” x 24” piece for the cushion, or minimum 40” x 40’ square for the quilt
- Backing: 1/2m of co-ordinating fabric for the cushion, or minimum
- 1m standard width for the quilt
- Fabric Marker
- Thread
- Basic sewing equipment
