"I have made beanbag recliners for all the kids in our house, but we all love a beanbag - and why should the kids have all the fun? This is a perfect, quick make with an inner lining bag, so that the cover can be easily removed for cleaning. These beanbags are not only simple to make, but the finished item is easy to move from room to room, so makes excellent portable seating. Why not make an outdoor-friendly version from water repellent fabric? NOTE: The Easy Peasy Beanbag can be made using a traditional sewing machine, or an overlocker." - Natasha

To make this item, you will need:
  • 1m of minimum 56" wide fabric for the beanbag outer
  • 1m of minimum 56" wide calico for the beanbag lining
  • 2m length of size #3 continuous zipper tape and a zip pull
  • Quilters' ¼" washaway tape
  • Bean bag fill
  • A zipper foot
  • Co-ordinating thread
  • General sewing equipment (Natasha used an overlocker to make this, but it can also be made on a regular sewing machine)
