A perfect project for your pre-cut design strip fabric rolls, or hand cut your own 2½" strips from your chosen fabrics to make something totally unique! How big you want your mat to be is up to you, just make sure you have the corresponding length in wadding strips and fabric strips.
- Full colour instructions, printed and posted out to you
- Wadding cut into 2½” strips, or a Katahdin roll (these come in 25 or 50 yard rolls)
- A jelly roll/design strip roll, or your favourite fabrics cut into 2½” strips
- A denim sewing machine needle
- Strong sewing thread: either a polyester or a 50wt cotton
- OPTIONAL: An iron-on wadding tape to join your wadding strips together if you do not have it by the roll
- RECOMMENDED: Clover Fabric Tube Maker CL4022
- Quilters clips
- Iron
- Starch-type fabric spray such as Best Press or Flatter
- Basic sewing equipment
