Boiled wool is a type of felted wool fabric, made by shrinking woven wool fabric in hot water. Warm, durable and non-fray, it is suitable for a multitude of uses including berets, scarves, waistcoats, coats and jackets - or why not try your hand a making a pair of slippers or a fabulous Autumn/Winter bag? Team Makes will also have a keen eye on the scrap bin, as the offcuts will be lovely for purses, glasses cases or hand-stitched felt makes.
