- A fat quarter of PU/faux leather or lightweight cork
- OPTIONAL: feel free to use Heat & Bond (fusible web for fabric bonding) to adhere a beautiful lining to the back of your cork or PU, then use a leather edge paint (such as Fiebing's Edge Kote) on the edges of your pieces after cutting them, and allow to dry thoroughly before sewing
