These jewellery pliers have double PP nylon jaws, which are great for holding items; and, unlike the jaws on regular pliers, nylon jaws protect your items from scratching and denting. These pliers are especially useful when opening and closing large jump rings, or for wire wrapping techniques. They can also be used to flatten jewellery components: simply squeeze them over your piece to gently flatten without causing any damage. To straighten bent wire using nylon jaw jewellery pliers, simply run them across the misshapen wire.
