- A fat quarter of cotton chambray (from a wider width bolt, otherwise a ½m length of standard 44” wide fabric)
- A fat quarter of waxed or technical fabric
- A fat quarter of fusible fleece interfacing (Natasha used Vlieseline H630)
- A length of continuous zipper tape and a zip pull
- Six 1½” hexagons of different fabrics
- Quilters' ¼" washaway tape
- A basting glue pen
- A size 10 sewing needle and thread if hand stitching
- Co-ordinating thread
- Basic sewing equipment
