INSTRUCTIONS: Quilting With Jane Sew-A-Row BOTM | 'Stars/Snowflakes and Snowman' Blocks: PRINTED VERSION
SKU: NM_70_40021226P
Bumper TWO BLOCK month!
"This month we are going to make two different blocks: Stars and Snowman. The star blocks are actually the 'Friendship Star' block, but I thought they give the illusion of twirling snowflakes. These simple nine-patch blocks are made up of Half Square Triangles and Squares; rotating the triangles to spin in different directions gives movement to the row. The addition of an appliqué Snowman Block in the middle of the row adds to the snowy wintery feel."
This block is the subject of the Quilting With Jane live workshop, hosted on Zoom at 2pm on Sunday 14th December 2025. This is the seventh session of Jane's' Sew-A-Row' project. Each month we will make a block, sometimes we will need to repeat the block to make a row; sometimes it will be a single block. All the blocks are designed to represent a month, so the combined rows when sewn together will create a quilt that depicts the seasons. Sign up or log in by visiting www.quiltingwithjane.com
