I made one of these a few years ago and it went down a storm, but what I have found is if using heavier fabrics, the drawstring does not always glide as I would like it to. So here is another take on an old favourite... - Natasha
- Full-colour instructions, printed and posted out to you
- Fabulous fabric for your pouch outer. This can be denim, PU or any fabric heavier than normal cotton- or simply interface normal cotton fabric with a medium weight interfacing.
- Co-ordinating fabric for your pouch lining.
- Contrast fabric (if you wish, or use your lining fabric).
- Ribbon or drawstring.
- Popper or plastic KAM snap.
- Optional: Odif Odicoat. If you are using your pouch for a make up bag, applying Odicoat to the lining fabric will mean it can be wiped clean of make up spills.
- Pinking shears.
- Co-ordinating thread.
- Basic sewing equipment.
