Quite often when you get a manufacturers free pattern the instructions can be quite brief. I have put a few hints and tips together to help you complete Lewis & Irene's 'The Secret Garden Quilt' project. You will need the original pattern, which was designed by Sally Ablett for Lewis and Irene and can be downloaded for free from their website: www.lewisandirene.com. - Jane

- The finished size of the quilt will be 64" x 64". Unfinished block size 8 1/2" x 8 1/2"
To make this project in Jane's colourway, you will need:
- Fabric A – 2m cotton plain in nude
- Fabric B – 1m Lewis & Irene | Bumbleberries in #BB340 Cornflower
- Fabric C - 0.5m Lewis & Irene | The Secret Garden: 'The Secret Garden' on Duck Green - A704.1
- Fabric D - 0.5m Lewis & Irene | The Secret Garden: 'Robin Floral' on Cream A708.1
- Fabric E - 0.5m Lewis & Irene | The Secret Garden: 'Roses' on Sage - A706.3
- Fabric F - 0.5m 100% cotton plain in Pale Pink
- Fabric G - 0.5m Lewis & Irene | Bumbleberries in #BB339 Summer Pink
- Fabric H - 0.5m Lewis & Irene | Bumbleberries in #BB40 Cream
- Free printout of Lewis & Irene The Secret Garden quilt instructions
- Basic sewing equipment
- Wadding (2m)
- Binding fabric (1/2m) (or follow the knife edge method, as Jane did)
- Backing fabric (2m of 108" wide).
