To make this item, you will need:
  • A fat quarter of fabric for the bag outer
  • A fat quarter of fabric for the bag lining
  • A fat quarter of your preferred interfacing: if you like a softer feel, use a fusible fleece like Vlieseline H630 or H640; for a crisper finish use a standard heavy firm iron-on interfacing like Hemline HN105 (NOTE: If you have chosen an outer fabric with more body than a quilting cotton, such as denim or a waxed/waterproof fabric, you may not need to interface)
  • Continuous zipper tape and a zip pull
  • Quilters’ ¼" washaway tape
  • OPTIONAL: Template plastic
  • Co-ordinating thread
  • Basic sewing equipment
