Jane's latest Block of the Month is a journey through the year and the seasons with her Sew-A-Row project.

This kit contains fabric and instructions for the Quilting With Jane "Sew-A-Row BOTM | 'Windmill and Umbrella Blocks" Workshop, hosted on Zoom at 2pm on Sunday 8th February 2026.

This workshop will be hosted live, exclusively for Quilting With Jane members, in February 2026. Those who are unable to attend the workshop when the date is set need not worry, as the demonstration will be recorded separately and uploaded to the Quilting With Jane members' area.

This bundle contains the kit for the Windmill and Umbrella Blocks ONLY (fabrics may be subject to change):

  • ½m 100% cotton plain in ivory (background fabric for all blocks)
  • For the Windmills: four long quarters of plain fabric: pink, light turquoise, lemon, pale green
  • For the Umbrellas: six long quarters of plain fabric: red, blue, yellow, green, plus dark grey or brown
  • Printed Instructions with template: Quilting with Jane Sew-A-Row BOTM | 'Windmill and Umbrella' Blocks

You will also need (not included - you may have these in your stash or left over from previous blocks):

  • A fabric marker
  • Paper-backed sheet of fusible web for fabric bonding (e.g. Vlieseline Bondaweb)
  • Medium weight iron-on interfacing
  • A pencil
  • Thread
  • General sewing equipment

Postage and packing for UK residents is a set fixed rate of £4.95 (unless your order is over £75, which qualifies you for FREE shipping). We will always use the most appropriate service to get your parcels delivered to you as safely as we can. 

This does mean your orders may arrive via different couriers, and when available, we will send you a tracking ID. 

Unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to ship outside the UK, but some customers can still purchase our digital patterns.
