"I have used the Alaska Block to depict fireworks for this month - I used the Creative Grids Alaska Ruler, which certainly makes life easier for this block, but I have attached templates for those of you who don’t have the ruler."
This block is the subject of the Quilting With Jane live workshop, hosted on Zoom at 10am on Monday 13th October 2025. This is the fifth session of Jane's' Sew-A-Row' project. Each month we will make a block, sometimes we will need to repeat the block to make a row; sometimes it will be a single block. - Fabric B: 1 fat quarter Robert Kaufman Mixed Metallics in peach
- Fabric C: 1 fat quarter Robert Kaufman Mixed Metallics in azalea
- Fabric D: 1 fat quarter Robert Kaufman Mixed Metallics in lavender
- A Creative Grids Alaska ruler or A4 sheet of clear template plastic
- Co-ordinating thread
- Basic sewing equipment
