This simple quilt creates a 3-D effect with the clever use of lights and darks. It is made entirely of half-square triangles so is quick and easy to make. The colour pattern contains comprehensive step-by-step instructions with clear diagrams and requirements.
Please note: you do need a speciality ruler to make your half-square triangles - you can use the Creative Grids Multi-Size 45/90 or alternatively you could use the new and very versatile Creative Grids Multi-Size Flying Geese & 45/90 ruler.
Requirements:
- one dessert roll or twenty 5inch strips cut across the width of the fabric
- 1.4m (1½ yards) medium fabric
- 3.25m (3½ yards) light background fabric
- 60cms binding fabric
- Creative Grids Multi-Size 45/90 or similar tool for making half-square triangles from strips
