Liberty Tana Lawn 'Flower Power' Cushion Kit
Suitable for a confident/advancing beginner sewer, this cushion cover is constructed using the raw edge appliqué technique. Additional details (in the flowers and the ambling flight path of the bees) are created through decorative quilting stitches, which can be done by machine or by hand - or a combination of both, if you prefer! The ‘fold and cut’ method of cutting out the circular flower pieces is inspired by paper-cut snowflakes often made by children. Have fun applying this simple principle to fabric with beautiful results!

To complete this project, you will need (not included in kit): Scissors or a scalpel, an iron, a pencil, an erasable fabric pen, pins, thread to match each fabric, black and dark pink embroidery floss or thread, a thimble, a sewing machine (it is handy to be able to drop the feed dog), a hand sewing needle
Optional: free motion quilting foot, washable fabric adhesive/glue
